Fei Hong Five Metals × Onlygo Case Study

Fei Hong Metal Accessories has specialized in custom metal product development and precision surface finishing for over 30 years, with deep OEM/ODM experience in zinc alloy manufacturing. We recently partnered with Onlygo, a design brand within our group, to bring a series of creative lifestyle products to market. This project was built around one idea — “a badge that spins” — resulting in the TWISTY ZOO interactive spinner badge series, featuring six popular animal characters: Giant Panda, Red Panda, Capybara, Formosan Black Bear, Leopard Cat, and Raccoon. Each design combines a two-piece rotating zinc alloy structure, 3D relief sculpting, and digital color printing.

This case demonstrates Fei Hong’s end-to-end capability, from character concept to metal mass production: the client side handles illustration and spin-mechanism design, while our factory handles zinc alloy die-casting, relief sculpting, and digital color printing — all completed in-house at our own production facility.

TWISTY ZOO responds to this in the simplest way: let a cute animal companion give you a spin, and wherever the disc lands becomes your answer, or your nudge.

Giant Panda: Dozing inside a bamboo-leaf frame, the fixed panda sits above a disc marked with seven fortune outcomes — perfect for a quick spin each morning for good luck.
Red Panda: Nestled against a warm cherry-blossom-and-apple background, part of the Indecision Rescue series — soft floral lines in red tones, with spin options ranging from “Go for it” to “Whatever,” answering everyday indecision with a light touch.
Capybara: Floating at the center of a blue water-pattern disc, with gentle waves and a relaxed little duck in the background echoing the capybara’s love of hot springs — part of the Fortune Wheel series, designed purely for comfort.
Formosan Black Bear: Curled up among orange fallen leaves and its favorite ring-cupped oak acorns — one of only two designs in the series featuring a species native to Taiwan, a fitting choice for gifts with local cultural meaning.
Leopard Cat: Stretched out amid green foliage, also native to Taiwan, part of the Indecision Rescue series with a natural green palette.
Raccoon: The only design in the series with the character mounted outside the disc’s edge. Inspired by raccoons’ signature “washing” behavior, it perches on the rim of a blue bubble-pattern disc, washing away indecision — part of the Indecision Rescue series.

What pin-back options are available?

Common fastening options include military clutch (T-bar) pins, butterfly clutches, safety-pin backs, and magnetic backs. This TWISTY ZOO series uses a military clutch pin. If your use case calls for a different fastening method, let us know when requesting a quote and we’ll advise based on our production capabilities.
